Homes in this new section range from $475,000 to $2 million-plus and many of the homesites in this new section back up to the bayou and the 100-acre nature reserve, which is the focal point of the community.

Dozens of homes are under construction now, and several are nearing completion and will be ready for fall move-in.

One of the custom builders with complete homes in the Estates of WoodCreek is Northstone Builders.

Northstone is a design-and-build custom-home builder owned and operated by two brothers with complementary backgrounds.  For years, the company has had success in the west Houston market due to its designs and pricing.  Relying on referral business through word-of-mouth, its reputation and business have grown.

Owners Jeff and Rich Stone have more than 10 years of experience and know how to provide homeowners with what they need for an enjoyable buying experience.  In addition to Northstone Builders, the list of custom builders in the Estates of WoodCreek includes Rockwell Homes, Vanguard Homes, Montreaux Luxury Homes, Dominion Custom Homes, Stone Creek Builders and GTF Custom Homes.

WoodCreek Reserve, on Buffalo Bayou, offers a recreation center surrounded by nature trails, fish-stocked lake and tennis courts, along with the community swimming pool, cabanas and a playground.  Upon completion of WoodCreek Reserve, amenities also will include a sports field and three other neighborhood parks.

WoodCreek Reserve is home to two Katy Independent School District schools.  WoodCreek Elementary opened this fall and WoodCreek Junior High is under construction now and will open in 2008.  The 13-acre elementary school site is at the center of the community plan, and the 31-acre junior high site is on Katy-Flewellen.
